Content writing
This is the crux of what I do. Website copy, annual reports, brochures, magazine articles, news releases, blogs, e-newsletters, social media posts… you name it, I’ll do it. Another big part of what I do is copy editing, so if you have some existing content that needs sprucing up or rewritten for a different audience then I’ll gladly give it a go.

Copy editing
Looking to spruce up your website or brand copy? Or do you have an annual report or white paper that’s full of facts but lacks impact? I can help. I’ll take your existing content and make it punchier, easier to read and on brand.

AI copy editing
AI is revolutionising brand communications, but everyone is using it, and it shows. I take AI-generated copy and edit it to your style and tone of voice. Making it more human, more memorable and, ultimately, less machine.

Proofreading
If you’ve got an article, report or book that needs checking for grammar, punctuation or spelling then I’m happy to help. I’ll go through your text with a fine-tooth comb and highlight errors and inconsistencies, so that you’re left with clear, flowing and readable copy.

Tone of voice
Having a unique brand tone of voice sets you apart from your competitors and AI. Working together we can identify your target audience and create a tone of voice template for marketing and PR content. This will mean that every piece of content you create is consistent and true to your brand.

Agency support
Before going freelance, I was a managing editor for one of Bristol’s leading content marketing agencies. With my experience in both account management and content production, I can offer freelance support to agencies in need of copywriting or content management assistance on an ad hoc or long-term basis.
My approach
I pride myself in being fairly flexible and can adapt my services depending on what you need. This means I don’t have a fixed rate for the work I do. The cost of my services will vary depending on the nature of the job.
How it usually works is that you get in touch with your copywriting, editing or proofreading requirements and I’ll send you a quote. If the terms are agreeable, we’ll go ahead and set up an initial meeting or call to run through the brief and then I’ll crack on with it.
I’m completely honest, so if I feel a job isn’t for me or if I think the deadline or fee is unrealistic, I won’t waste your time. I’ll let you know so that you can look elsewhere.
